We started the Barefoot Horse Trim just over a year ago.
We have 4 horses.
1 11 year old thoroughbred with Navicular.
1 26 year old Thoroughbred ex-broodmare with very poor hooves. She always had hoof problems, poor growth, infections etc.
1 26 year old part Arab, hooves good.
1 very aged farm mare, hooves fine.
Over the past year, especially with the 2 Thoroughbreds, the hooves have made really excellent progress.
Nadia (broodmare) has had the most amazing results. Her hooves are a much better texture; she has had more hoof growth and almost no infections at all.
Bart (Thoroughbred with Navicular) has hooves that look so much better in shape and performance.
Hine (farm mare) almost immediately after her first Barefoot Trim was able to move better than she had done in the 5 months that she had been with us.
Comments:
Although none of our horses are ridden, the over all hoof condition has improved in all 4 horses.
