Off The Wall Transitions

The horses featured in this section of the Equine Rehabilitation System website were believed by ‘mainstream’ thinking to be ‘past their best by date’ and were either due to be sent off for slaughter or given away as un-rideable paddock mates or brood mares.
With non-invasive trimming of their distorted hooves on a regular basis, attention to nutritional deficiencies, correction of dental issues by Equine Dentistry Graduates and when necessary, body work using Ortho-Bionomy and Kinetic Equestrian therapies, these horses have regained their physical and emotional health and vitality.
Their return to soundness means their new caregivers are able to enjoy a ridden relationship with these horses and at the same time ensure the horses maximum comfort is maintained.
Here are a few of the horses that have so far be rehabilitated and have gone on either to be adopted or leased out to new owners or have joined my ever increasing herd of societies 'rejects'.
