This picture of Nutz and I was taken end of Dec 2004. I feel very proud to share this with you as it is my first true attempt at jumping. I am a novice rider who decided to fulfil my dream of owning and loving a horse after losing confidence as a child. No pony club but hooning around the farm on a crazy horse was my extent of riding. Now after owning my 19year old standard bred “Gallant Pride” (otherwise known as Nutz) for 18months I am starting to venture into the unknown of horse riding. I was adamant that I wouldn’t jump since that looked way too scary however, I seem to have skipped the controlled canter stage and have ended up in full flight with nothing in my way! Nutz has rewarded me with his love and dedication (even though he lives up to his name at times!). And it’s with his patience and those that support me that encourages me to continue my development in the Equine world. Incredible animals can help us do incredible things!
