Off The Wall Transitions

James

James has been an Eventer and Medium level dressage horse.
Starting from a young age and throughout his career he has had periods of unsoundness.
James went on a regular Natural Hoof Care programme in mid 2002.
His severely under run and folded over heels and other hoof distortion problems which included a gaping dorsal crack on his near fore, had improved with trimming to such an extent that he was sound enough again to be schooled and was sold on. Unfortunately his subsequent hoof programme with his new owner lead to a relapse of his previous problems.
Because James has such a wonderful temperament, when it was suggested that James be put down, his caregiver at the time decided to get in touch with his old owner to see if she wanted him back.
He was quickly retrieved and is now back on a Natural Hoof Care programme that is again helping to remodel his distorted feet back into fully functioning, healthy hooves.
