Ian Stevenson is an instructor of Ortho-Bionomy and consultant to members of the United States Olympic Team in Aura Kinetic Training. He brings 25 years of experience to his chosen work of Aura Kinetics, a subject on which he is a world leading authority. Ian has a Masters Degree in Physical Education from the university of Oregon and held the position of Professor of Movement Studies at the University of Kent for seven years.
Ian has combined this background with his love of horses to develop and refine a system of breathing techniques that allows for improved communication between the horse and rider in a subtle, yet powerful way. This system of riding, along with the Kinetic Groundwork Sequence, allows the rider to be more in tune with their horses, riding with greater harmony, enjoying a closer bond that is beneficial in all disciplines from pleasure riding to Grand Prix level.
